Have you been watching Tsurune? Reading Zen in the Art of Archery? Want to try the traditional Japanese martial art of archery? Come along to OKM's Come and Try day - a Box Hill Japan Festival Special Event! Don't miss your chance to see Kyudo demonstrations and shoot some arrows!
Each come and try session is 90 minutes in length and will include:
Demonstration of Kyudo by OKM members
Basic instruction in Kyudo Technique - Shaho Hassetsu
Basic instruction in Kyudo Equipment - Bows, Arrows, Gloves
Performing Shaho Hassetsu and releasing an arrow under instruction
